We set out to answer this question for door and window OEM’s in the 1960’s, focusing on both application-specific design, and through helping customers reach broader value-driven objectives. The results include successful domestic development and production of over 2000 specialty and fully custom designs that optimize performance and cost, ranging in volume from one to tens of millions. In addition to models that can be feasibly manufactured in the USA, and through leveraging partnerships we’ve built over the last three decades, we provide secure fulfillment options from responsible and redundant facilities across the globe. In all cases, OMCO provides engineering oversight, uncompromising service, and accountability for both specialty designs and more than 3000 standard ISO/ABMA types and sizes.

Sizes

SUMO ABEC ground precision bearings covers all ANSI/ABMA and ISO standard inch or metric sizes. In addition, we have produced more than 2000 custom bearing designs. In both cases, our offering is ideally suited for OEM production requirements.

Production

Standard ground bearings are produced by dedicated ISO/TS certified partner factories throughout Asia. Custom bearings can be produced either in China or at our Wisconsin facility. Significant volume and experience with those resources allow us to offer products priced well below industry standard.

Material

Available in a complete range of material, seal, lubrication and clearance specifications, as well as meeting Electric Motor Quality (EMQ), Z3/V3 noise and vibration standards, and from Unground/Non-ABEC up to ABEC 3 tolerance ratings.

Inventory

Significant inventory or just-in-time manufacturing at our Midwest facility, dedicated and consolidated shipping and warehousing from partner factories abroad, and flexible releases/favorable terms makes for an unmatched level of supplier confidence, low overhead and leveraged pricing.
