Vinod Natarajan serves as Senior Mechanical Engineer for OMCO SUMO, bringing over 20 years of mechanical design and engineering experience spanning material handling, industrial machinery, and precision manufactured components. A detail-oriented and versatile engineer, Vinod has built a career defined by translating complex technical requirements into practical, cost-effective design solutions across both domestic and international manufacturing environments.
Prior to joining OMCO SUMO in 2025, Vinod spent over a decade at PFlow Industries, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of vertical reciprocating conveyors, where he led concept design, component selection, and cross-functional project execution while directing both onsite and offshore design teams. Earlier in his career, he contributed to engineering projects spanning combine harvester design, high-speed packaging machinery, structural bus body development, and paper machine construction — gaining broad exposure to diverse manufacturing processes and global engineering collaboration.
Vinod holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Periyar University in India.
