Rod Winter serves as General Manager & Integrator of OMCO SUMO, bringing over 30 years of executive leadership experience with middle-market manufacturing companies. A seasoned operator and strategist, Rodney has a proven track record of scaling businesses, driving cultural transformation, and delivering exceptional results — including leading a private equity-owned manufacturing enterprise through significant growth and a successful exit.
Prior to joining OMCO SUMO in 2026, Rod served as President & CEO of RCS Innovations, where he led a comprehensive transformation of culture, operations, and business strategy. Earlier in his career, he served as President & CEO of Specialized Industries, LP, overseeing a portfolio of purpose-built work truck equipment and specialty vehicle manufacturers, and playing a key role in multiple strategic acquisitions before a successful sale to Alamo Group in 2014.
Rod is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and certified EOS Implementer, with deep experience across family-owned, private equity, and publicly held ownership structures. He holds an MBA and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and began his career in the audit practice at KPMG.
