Chen Shuhui serves as Managing Director of PRC Operations for OMCO SUMO, a relationship with the company spanning more than two decades. A mechanical engineer by training and a seasoned industry executive, Chen brings rare depth of expertise across bearing design, manufacturing, and international trade.
Prior to joining OMCO SUMO, Chen served as General Manager of Exporting at HCH Bearing (China Huanchi Bearing Group), one of China’s largest privately held bearing manufacturers, where he led international sales and oversaw the establishment of state-of-the-art bearing production facilities. In 2011, he founded Ningbo Amol Machinery Co., Ltd., a specialty bearing factory in Cixi City — China’s long-established bearing epicenter in Zhejiang province — which he continues to own and operate. The facility employs approximately 100 production personnel and serves as the hub for OMCO SUMO’s Chinese manufacturing operations, complemented by engineering staff managing subcontracted fulfillment across Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Shandong provinces.
Chen is also recognized as a leading exporter of specialty bearing manufacturing equipment to emerging global manufacturing economies, further strengthening OMCO SUMO’s established network of redundant global production capacity.
Chen holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University, and graduate degrees in refrigeration and micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) from Zhejiang University and the National University of Singapore. He subsequently pursued doctoral study at the University of Toronto.
